Orbital Agents

Frequently Asked Questions

This FAQ explains how the AI Agents Diagnostic Lab works, what it includes, how governance is handled, and what to expect before and after the session.

Before investing in AI Agents, you deserve clear, direct answers.

This FAQ page addresses the most common questions executives ask about our AI Agents Diagnostic Lab and related services. Each section is organised by theme so you can quickly find what matters most to you.

1. About the Diagnostic Lab

The Diagnostic Lab Report is a prescriptive operating document. It does not describe possibilities — it tells you what to do.

It gives you deterministic answers to the three executive questions that must be resolved before AI Agents touch your business:
• Should we deploy AI Agents at all?
• Where exactly should they operate? (Sales, Marketing, Operations — and which workflows)
• How should they be deployed safely? (at what autonomy level, with what controls)

The report contains:
• A current-state readiness diagnosis across people, performance, process, technology and governance
• A per-domain AI Autonomy Tier assignment (what level of independence is safe for each function)
• A risk and constraint map that names what will break, what must exist, and what blocks progress
• A governance architecture defining ownership, escalation paths, decision boundaries and auditability
• A 90-day execution plan with sequenced actions, milestones and dependencies (with guidance through 12 months)
• A board-grade executive summary for leadership alignment and approval

This report does not say "you could." It says:
• Deploy AI Agents here.
• Do not deploy them here yet.
• This work must remain human.
• These controls must exist before automation begins.
• This is the order of execution.

It becomes your system blueprint for AI. You can take it to your board, hand it to your internal teams, use it with any vendor, or engage Orbital Agents to implement. It exists to remove ambiguity and replace it with governed action — so you know what to build, what not to build, and why.

Your live session is not a discovery call and not a technical scoping workshop. It is a structured executive decision session.

Before the session, a senior Orbital Agents executive reviews your submitted questionnaire in full. Based on what you've provided, they determine:
• What requires validation
• What is incomplete or unclear
• What additional truth must be surfaced
• Where assumptions, gaps or risks exist

The live session is then designed around your data. During the session, we:
• Validate the information you submitted
• Clarify what was incomplete or ambiguous
• Explore your true priorities and constraints
• Walk through key workflows in your focus domains
• Pressure-test assumptions
• Surface risks, dependencies and governance gaps

Every question asked in the session is grounded in what you already provided. The goal is not to gather "new" information—it is to ensure what we have is true, complete and decision-grade.

The session is led by an Orbital Agents executive in a structured format. You will be asked critical questions that require clear, executive-level answers. This is where ambiguity is removed and alignment is created.

You do not need to prepare anything new for the session beyond completing your questionnaire accurately. We recommend having the executive sponsor, domain specialists for each focus area (Sales, Marketing, Operations), and anyone with deep data or systems knowledge.

This is not a technical systems design session. It is a strategic alignment and decision environment. By the end of the session, we have everything required to produce a Diagnostic Lab Report that is accurate, defensible and board-ready.

Discovery calls are sales conversations. The AI Agents Diagnostic Lab is a paid decision environment with a defined deliverable. You receive a board-grade Diagnostic Lab Report within 48 hours—not a proposal, not a pitch deck, not a "let's circle back." The report is yours to use internally, with other vendors, or with us. We're not selling you a solution; we're selling you clarity.

Free assessments are lead generation tools designed to qualify you for a sales process. Our Diagnostic Lab is the product. The fee ensures we invest meaningful time in your specific context—not a templated output. It also filters for decision-makers who are serious about acting, not just researching. If you proceed to implementation within 90 days, 100% of the fee is credited toward your engagement.

Tiers reflect organisational complexity and scope—not a time or live session length. Growth covers a single focus domain (Sales, Marketing or Operations) for early-stage evaluation. Scale covers two focus domains with deeper governance mapping. SMB/Enterprise is cross-functional, covering Sales + Marketing + Operations with full governance analysis and board-ready documentation. Your tier is determined during booking based on your context.

Implementation is resource-intensive and designed for long-term partnership. We assess every organisation for strategic alignment, operational maturity and readiness to act on recommendations. Completion of a Diagnostic Lab does not guarantee acceptance into implementation services—but it does give you a complete, actionable report regardless. We build with organisations ready to lead, not follow.

2. Readiness & Preparation

The Readiness Checklist is a short, free assessment that evaluates your current state across people, process, technology and governance. It identifies gaps and provides a high-level readiness score. Completing it before booking helps you decide whether the Diagnostic Lab is appropriate, and, if you proceed, it gives us a baseline to tailor your session. According to industry guidance, readiness assessments act like a "pre-flight checklist" for AI initiatives, ensuring data quality, technical infrastructure, workforce skills and processes are in place. Taking the checklist is required when you book a Diagnostic Lab; you can also take it on its own for a quick snapshot of your maturity and gap analysis.

The booking process is straightforward and takes a couple of minutes:

Step 1: Complete the qualification form. We ask for information about your organisation to determine your tier (Growth, Scale or SMB/Enterprise) and confirm the price.

Step 2: Pay online via Stripe. Once we assign your tier, you pay the Diagnostic Lab fee securely online at the same time.

Step 3: Schedule your session. After payment, a Calendly page to book a Teams-only live session will appear right away. We recommend scheduling live session at least five business days after payment so you have time to complete the pre-session questionnaire.

Then Prepare. Five minutes after you pay & book a session, you'll receive a receipt and a detailed pre-session questionnaire link covering people, processes, technology, data and governance. Your answers must be accurate and comprehensive—what you put in is what you get out. Inaccurate or incomplete information leads to incorrect KPIs or ROI analysis in your report, and the report will not be re-issued unless you book a new Diagnostic Lab.

The session is designed for decision-makers, but operational context matters. We recommend 2–4 attendees: the executive sponsor plus anyone with direct knowledge of the focus domains being assessed (Sales, Marketing or Operations). Technical or data staff can attend—especially those who understand your data and systems—but this isn't a systems audit; it's a strategic assessment of where AI Agents fit in your business, who owns outcomes and what governance is required to deploy your roadmap.

After booking, you'll receive a secure link to our pre-session questionnaire in the Orbital Agents portal. This is not a formality — it is the primary evidence base for your session and your Diagnostic Lab Report.

You should:
• Involve the right stakeholders across your focus domains (Sales, Marketing, Operations).
• Agree on accurate performance metrics, process flows, constraints and risks.
• Use real data, not estimates or assumptions.
• Align internally on what is true before anything is submitted.

The information you provide is used:
• To shape the live Diagnostic Lab session
• To calculate KPIs and ROI frameworks
• To generate your board-grade Diagnostic Lab Report

If the data is inaccurate or speculative, the outputs will be too.

Do not submit the questionnaire until:
• Every question is fully answered
• All relevant stakeholders have reviewed it
• The information reflects your final, agreed position

Once submitted, it becomes your immutable source of truth. There is no "edit" or "do-over." If you submit incomplete or incorrect information, the only way to regenerate the report is to book another Diagnostic Lab.

Submission must occur at least 24 hours before your live session. Earlier is strongly recommended. You may share the portal link with your internal stakeholders to support data gathering — but only submit once everything is complete, accurate and agreed. What you put in is what you get out.

3. After the Diagnostic Lab Session

That's a valid and valuable outcome. Many AI initiatives stall because organisations move forward without clarity or simply too fast. Your report will identify exactly what needs to be true before AI Agents are appropriate: data readiness, process maturity, governance gaps or skills requirements. You'll have a roadmap to readiness, not a push toward premature deployment.

You have a 7-day follow-up window for clarifying questions at no additional cost. From there, you can execute internally using the 90-day roadmap, engage another vendor, or proceed with Orbital Agents for implementation via the Agentic Orbit™ methodology. Selected organisations that proceed within 90 days receive 100% of the Diagnostic Lab fee credited toward implementation. Implementation is offered selectively based on strategic fit, readiness and resources.

Absolutely. The report is yours to use to deploy internally or with other vendors. Many organisations use it to brief their boards or guide existing teams on the plans. There's no obligation to work with us beyond the Diagnostic Lab.

The report reflects your organisation's state at the time of assessment. We recommend acting within 90 days—technology landscapes, competitive pressures and organisational priorities shift quickly in world of AI. The 90-day implementation credit window aligns with this guidance. If your circumstances change significantly, a refresh assessment may be appropriate.

4. Pricing & Policies

You may request a refund before your Diagnostic Lab live session; Stripe processing and cancellation fees will be deducted. Once the Diagnostic Lab has been delivered, the fee is non-refundable. You must reschedule the live session at least 48 hours before; failure to complete the pre-session questionnaire or a no-show will forfeit the fee.

No. Pricing is fixed based on the tier determined during qualification. The value lies in the clarity and governance deliverables, not the time spent. No plans available, payment up front in full only accepted as amount is not too large.

You need adequate time to complete the detailed pre-session questionnaire and gather accurate data. Rushing this step leads to low-quality inputs and compromises the report. Leaving at least five business days ensures you can collect information, coordinate internally and make the most of the live session.

Our pricing is fixed and globally consistent. Each tier is offered at the same value in AUD, USD, GBP, and EUR, so every client pays the same amount, simply displayed in their local currency at checkout.

Your currency is automatically selected based on your location.

Growth — 1,890 (AUD / USD / GBP / EUR)
Scale — 4,900 (AUD / USD / GBP / EUR)
SMB / Enterprise — 8,900 (AUD / USD / GBP / EUR)

This ensures pricing fairness worldwide, with no regional mark-ups or hidden conversion premiums.

Once you purchase your Diagnostic Lab, you are taken directly to the booking calendar to schedule your live session. We recommend booking your session at least five days in advance to allow sufficient time for preparation and pre-work.

You will receive a confirmation email with your session details and a secure link to manage your booking.

If you need to reschedule, you can do so using the same link, provided the change is made at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. This ensures your Diagnostic Lab remains governed, fair to all clients, and operationally sound.

5. Outcome & Implementation

Yes. Industry research shows a large percentage of organisations are stuck in "pilot purgatory"—experiments that never become infrastructure. The Diagnostic Lab identifies why pilots stall: missing governance frameworks, unclear ownership, integration gaps, misaligned autonomy tiers or insufficient data readiness. Your report will include a 90-day roadmap specifically designed to move from experimentation to operational scale.

No organisation's data is perfect. The Diagnostic Lab assesses your data reality—not your aspirations. We evaluate whether your current data foundation can support AI Agents at your recommended autonomy tier, identify critical gaps and priorities what must be addressed first. We don't require access to your systems—the assessment is evidence and conversation-based, supported by your pre-session questionnaire.

The Diagnostic Lab Report includes a framework for measuring AI Agents ROI aligned to your specific use cases—not generic industry benchmarks. We identify the operational metrics that matter (cost reduction, throughput, error rates, cycle time) and map them to your recommended implementation. However, we don't fabricate ROI projections. Boards are increasingly sceptical of inflated AI promises; we give you defensible, realistic inputs for your business case.

Governance is embedded in every layer of the Diagnostic Lab. Your report includes a Governance Framework section covering accountability structures, escalation paths, decision boundaries, audit requirements and human oversight protocols. With new regulatory frameworks emerging and boards asking tough questions, the Diagnostic Lab Report gives you documentation that addresses regulatory readiness—not just technical capability.

6. Global & Miscellaneous

Yes. The Diagnostic Lab is delivered remotely and is available globally. Pricing is consistent across AUD, USD, GBP and EUR. The methodology is jurisdiction-aware—governance recommendations account for relevant regulatory frameworks in your operating markets.

It's delivered remotely via a Teams live session and Diagnostic Lab Report is delivered via email. This format ensures we can involve the right stakeholders regardless of location and record the session for your reference.

Yes, but the focus is strategic. Data or systems experts are welcome, particularly to clarify current capabilities and constraints. The session is not a systems audit; it's about aligning on where AI Agents make sense and how to govern them.

We work with a select group of global partners with whom we design and implement Agentic Orbit® systems for clients.
